3 hours

Group- $145  per person

About:

After meeting at the entrance of Eastern Natural Wildlife Refuge formally known as Camp García, we make our way to a parking area and gear up for the adventure. We make our way into the brush under the canopy of tropical trees and head south. We emerge at the semi-secluded white-sand beach Playuela. We continue onward to a hidden path that takes us through a Caribbean Wonderland of ever changing scenery until we emerge at a secluded Secret Beach. After an equipment 101, we gear up and embark on an unforgettable snorkeling adventure. After the snorkeling we relax on the beach and enjoy a nice, re-energizing meal before making our way back.

Few know where the Atlantic stops and the Caribbean begins. We'll take you there for some amazing snorkeling.

After meeting at the 400 year old Ceiba Tree we head west to the furthest western point on the island where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet. Once the equipment 101 is done we make our way into the crystal clear water for some out of this world snorkeling. We'll make our way through some underwater trenches to a special spot I call "the fish tank". It feels like you're in an aquarium surrounded by hundreds of colorful  reef fish!

FAQs

Q: When we go snorkeling, will I get wet?
A: Yes, you’ll be in the water.
Q: Is gear provided?
A: Yes, when you book be sure to let us know what size shoes you wear and we’ll take care of the rest.
Q: Should I wear protective gear?
A: You will be face down for an extended amount of time with your back exposed to the sun so, in addition to sunscreen, we suggest wearing a shirt to protect yourself from getting sun burned.
Q: What altitude will we be at?
A: Sea level... 0.
Q: If I get stung by a jellyfish, will I have to get peed on?
A: We don’t have deadly jellyfish or Medusas in this region so there’s no need to fear. Jellyfish are seasonal and sometimes we do encounter them. If you do happen to get stung by one you will experience severe itching in a localized area. But we will have vinegar on hand to help neutralize the jellyfish’s sting.
Q: Will I see a turtle?
A: Wild animals are unpredictable, we cannot guarantee 100% that you will see any of the animals described above. However, we can take you to the places they frequent which means you will be most likely to have an encounter with them.
